If there’s one thing I know for certain about Vessel, it’s that their products continue to get better and better every year.  I had the chance to review a few of their bags from last year and was impressed.  The bags I’ve seen in 2021 blow my mind.  That includes the Midsize Staff Bag.

Let’s start with the pockets.  Both accessory pockets are lined with premium velour to keep your valuables from getting scratched.  The pocket covers are magnetic.  No worrying about zippers getting stuck or breaking. 

The personals pockets are state-of-the-art too.  The insides are lined with anti-microbial velour.  The zippers are waterproof.  Not many bag manufacturers pay attention to details this small.  A sizable cooler pocket is thermal-lined.  There’s plenty of room to store as many drinks as you could possibly consume in a single round.  Additionally, magnetic water bottle sleeves can be found on either side of the ball pocket. 

When you’re transporting your clubs from the car to the course, the padded single strap is the most comfortable of its kind.  If you’re playing in bad weather, your umbrella will be close at hand in the sleek umbrella holder.  Your clubs won’t get wet either.  The rain hood easily snaps over the tops of clubs, and matches the body of the bag.  The top of the bag is impressive as well.  A 6-divider design allows you to keep your clubs in order.  Each divider is lined with luxe velour that protects not just your clubheads, but shafts and grips also.

This bag is flat out cool.

Our Experience

I’ve been fortunate to use the Midsize Staff Bag on both a speed cart, and an electric cart. It shouldn’t come as any surprise that I was more than impressed with the bag in both situations. Let’s take a step back though, to when I first received this bag.  The moment I pulled it out of the box, I loved what I saw. That feeling only grew when I got it out on the course.  The bag performed like a dream.  Everything from the forward-facing pockets with ample storage, to insulated cooler pockets exceeded my expectations.  I’ve yet to come across a midsize bag I like more.
