Our Experience
Immediately the TRUE Knit II impress in terms of looks and lightweight feel out of the box, but the original TRUE Knit golf shoes set an incredibly high bar to overcome. Wearing the TRUE Knit II’s, it is apparent there has been support added in the footbed making the walk even more comfortable. I was skeptical that TRUE could create a better version of the TRUE Knit and I was sad to see the original model discontinued, however, the TRUE Knit II is an improvement without fundamentally changing anything that made the prior model great. I am impressed with how the TRUE Knit II’s feel and am looking forward to perhaps having a new favorite golf shoe.
- The Knit II improve the cushion of the original Knits without altering the lightweight and breathable nature of the golf shoe.
- The Knit II golf shoes provide versatile comfort all day and traction that can be used to hit high quality golf shots in most conditions.
- The TRUE Knit II golf shoes are some of the best warm weather shoes on the market.
- The Knit upper will still struggle in rainy weather so these shoes should be worn with caution for rounds played in the late fall, early spring, and winter.
- If you are only going to buy one pair of golf shoes, a waterproof option might be better.
- TRUE Knit II shoes may be difficult to find in your local pro shops and retail stores.

Conclusion
The Knit II shoes from TRUE Linkswear had big shoes to fill to overcome the standard set in place by the original TRU Knits. Amazingly, the Knit II golf shoes are in fact better than the prior model with more comfort being provided by the WONDERLUX layer in the footbed of the new design. Golfers that loved the TRUE Knits should be setting their sights on the Knit II’s as soon as their shoes need replacing.
