If you happen to find yourself in the historic city of Providence, you need to play Triggs Memorial.
The course is set on some 140 acres of what was formerly the Obadiah Brown Farm. To this day, many of the original trees still line the fairways and place a premium on accuracy.
The layout is classic old school New England. Some holes run parallel, but the course lacks nothing in character. The greens are small, sloped, and well protected by overhanging trees and gaping bunkers.
One of the best rounds in the state at a reasonable price.
