Our Experience
I’ve long been a fan of Mizuno clubs. Years ago, it was because I admired their clubs meant for better players. They looked sexy, felt great, and were far too advanced for a weekend warrior like me to hit.
Since the JPX line of irons were first introduced in 2018 however, I’ve become more and more a fan of their game improvement irons that are more suited for players like me, and many of our Golfer’s Authority readers.
The JPX921s seem longer to me than previous models. That’s probably due to the extra thin face and variable sole.
Whereas a lot of game improvement irons sound loud and feel hard, such wasn’t the case with these irons. The feel was solid, yet soft. And the sound was very much the same.
Overall, a well-built iron that stands to benefit anyone looking for something in the game improvement iron category.

No longer is Mizuno just a company that makes clubs for premium ball strikers. Far from it. The JPX921 Irons are suited for the everyman that wants to take full advantage of everything that modern design and tech have to offer. They’re forgiving, long, and well-built.
