Callaway Rogue, Rogue Pro, and Rogue X Irons
Callaway’s Rogue set of clubs has received outstanding reviews from golfers of all ages and levels. They’re popular among teenagers since they go a long way. This is largely owing to Variable Face Thickness Technology, which strains COR’s legal boundaries. They’re also quite understanding. This is due to the addition of tungsten weight to the club’s perimeter.

Average golfers will hit different shafts or club heads to compare them in our new club testing series. The technique is hitting an equal number of shots with each shaft or club head, eliminating any outliers, and reporting the findings. There is only one variable in each of these tests.
The club tests are all overseen by experienced fitters because they are held at Club Champion in Royal Oak, Michigan. For the Callaway Rogue test, each golfer hit six irons with identical shafts in each head.

- They are inexpensive for a premium iron.
- The feel and sound were excellent.
- Compared to my prior irons, they were longer and more accommodating.
Rogue X irons are lighter, longer, and have stronger lofts than the ordinary Rogue. They are based on the Epic Star irons that started in Japan and came to the United States last summer. The broader sole and larger head on this variant allowed engineers to lower the center of gravity, resulting in a higher launch angle.
The Rogue X’s lofts are stronger than the ordinary Rogue irons’ lofts, and the 4-6 iron is longer than standard length, however the Rogue X produces almost equal trajectories as the standard Rogue.
