PXG 0211 Irons Review

$729.99

Ever since its founding, PXG has had a reputation of making some of the most expensive golf clubs on the market.  They didn’t make any bones about it either.  They say their clubs are superior and by all accounts a lot of golfers agree. But during pandemic-stricken 2021, company founder Bob Parsons did something no one was expecting.  He introduced the 0211 irons at a price that vastly undercut the competition.  Why?  It’s anybody’s guess.  Maybe he felt sorry for us golfers who were stuck inside like everyone else. Whatever the case may be, the 0211 irons remain some of the most popular on the market, even in 2022. One of the major reasons is that they can benefit just about any golfer.

Srixon AD333 Golf Ball
Deal

Srixon’s most popular golf ball is the AD333, hands down.  While the brand makes lots of different balls that appeal to everyone from Tour Players to rank beginners, the AD333 benefits the everyman. This ball gives you the best of both worlds.  It’s low compression limits spin off the tee for maximum distance, yet it’s soft around the green where you need control the most.

TaylorMade TP5 Pix and TP5X Pix Golf Balls
Deal

The TaylorMade golf ball he employs has just as much flare and pizazz as he does.  The TP5 Pix and TP5X Pix are both covered in what look like Halloween candy corns. The colors – orange, black, and white – are inspired by his alma mater and college golf powerhouse, Oklahoma State University. Just like Ricky and his days in Stillwater, the TaylorMade Golf Ball Department has come a long way in the last few years. I’m curious to have a closer look.  I bet you are too.

Ping G425 Irons Review

$1,079.99

While there are a wide range of players that have the G425 irons in their bag, they were originally designed for mid to high handicappers that had trouble getting the ball in the air and needed more forgiveness. It didn’t take long for word to get out about these clubs.  As a result, you can now find them in the hands of everyone from rank beginners to scratch players. In the year since these clubs were released, it’s become more than apparent that just about anyone can reap the benefits the Ping G425s have to offer.

Srixon ZX7 Irons Review

$1,028.57

If you’re just learning the game, you should be playing clubs that offer plenty of forgiveness and help you get the ball in the air. If this sounds like you, the Srixon ZX7 irons aren’t the best choice.
However, if you’ve been playing for a while and put more of an emphasis on control and shot making, then you probably want an iron that’s a little more compact and easier to manipulate. That’s precisely what this iron offers. While there are some elements of forgiveness in its design, the emphasis is on traditional looks, clean looks, soft feel, and responsiveness.

Vessel Prodigy Mini Staff Bag Review

$445.00

If you fancy yourself a walker, this bag might not be for you. In fact, I wouldn’t recommend it at all. But if you like to ride and are in the market for one of the best cart bags on the market, the Prodigy Mini Staff Bag is sure to come through in spades. It’s masterfully crafted from the finest materials that are durable, weather resistant, and easy to clean. This bag is also a great option if you have a lot of gear. A smaller version of the staff bags you see on Tour, the Prodigy Mini has more room for storage than you can imagine. Quality, functional, and expertly built are the words my staff and I use to describe this bag.

Vessel VLS Lux Stand Bag Review

$365.00

Just like we wrote in our review about the smaller VLS Stand Bag, the VLS Lux is the go-to choice for any golfer that likes to walk, takes their game and equipment seriously, and appreciates the finest quality. At first glance, it’s easy to tell that this stand bag exists in a league of its own compared to those manufactured in bulk by other major OEM’s. The folks at Vessel take a tremendous amount of pride in their work, and it shows. Even though this bag is a little on the spendy side, it’s more than worth the investment for any discerning golfer.

Hey Vic, the two places I have been able to find them is on Amazon or on eBay. The Costco by me never has them in stock!

  2. Paul, thank you so much for your comment we really appreciate it!

  3. Hey Vic,

We could not agree more. We were in the middle of testing the putter right before we received your comment. This is by far one of the best Odyssey Putters ever made.

  4. Nethan, thank you for the note. If you are looking for better posture and swing, check out these articles (How to Hit a Driver, How to Swing a Golf Club.) If you are looking to better grip the ball, then check out these articles (Best Golf Gloves, and Best Golf Grips.)

  5. Hi James

I would check Ebay. Here is a link that will take you to the search for GX7 Golf Clubs

  6. Thank you Wilfred! We have more content on the way!

    Hi Mohammed

If you are looking for a new ball that is for swing speeds under 90 mph you cant go wrong with any of the following: Srixon Soft Feel, Bridegstone Tour B RXS, or Bridgestone E6. As you can see they are roughly the sae price as the Callaway Super Soft. Check them out and let us know what you purchased, and if it worked for you.

  8. Oh, now that is a great one for sure !!

  9. Hi Sam

The Kirkland Golf Ball is a great ball to use, especially their 4 piece urethane ball. It is awesome! But if you are looking for a different ball to try out that is made for Seniors and/or high handicappers looking to break 100, you cannot go wrong with the Bridgestone E6, Snell Golf MTB Red, and/or the MG Golf Ball which is made for Seniors, but not tournament play.

  10. John, that is awesome, thank you for your comment. This is great, we love it!!! I did see that the Vice Pro Plus, Vice Tour, Snell MTB Black, Snell Get Sum all received Gold Ratings, while the Cut Blu got a Silver in Golf Digest’s 2018 Best New Golf Balls. I think you have me convinced to try out the Snell Vice Pro Plus to see how it compares to the Titleist Pro V1 I had been using.

  11. Hi Ed, to get a little more distance and spin control you might want to try the following Golf Balls, which are all similarly priced to the B330 RX:

1.) Bridgestone Tour B RX: Made of 3 piece construction, these balls are great for golfers with a swing speed over 90 mph, and Bridgestone has even stated they provide greater distance than the B330 RX.

2.) TaylorMade Project (a): The TaylorMade Project (a) golf balls are made of 3 piece construction and have been designed to greatly reduce spin, due to its larger inner core, but can also provide superior distance thanks to the same dimple pattern as the TP5 and TP5x.

3.) Callaway Superhot: The Callaway Superhot is also made of 3 piece construction, and was designed to create super long distances, due to its HEX Aerodynamics, while providing low spin thanks its High Velocity Core.
